Join BCEPC for an informative recap on the 59th Annual Heckerling Institute on Estate Planning. Jere Doyle, Estate Planning Strategist for BNY Wealth Management, and Martyn S. Babitz of Archer & Greiner will cover the recent estate planning developments as well as a summary of the more important sessions during the week-long program.
Speakers:
Jere Doyle is an estate planning strategist for BNY Wealth Management and a senior vice president of BNY Mellon. He has been with the firm since 1981. Jere advises high‑net‑worth individuals and families nationwide, providing integrated wealth management guidance focused on the effective holding, management, and transfer of wealth in a tax‑efficient manner.
Marty Babitz of Archer & Greiner advises clients on all aspects of family wealth transfer, business succession, philanthropy, and strategies for mitigating income, estate, gift, and generation‑skipping transfer taxes.
Prior to rejoining Archer & Greiner, Marty served as a senior vice president at BNY Wealth Management, concentrating on estate planning and wealth transfer. He previously held senior wealth planning roles at Brown Brothers Harriman and PNC Wealth Management. Marty brings more than thirty‑six years of experience in wealth management and estate planning, including his earlier work as an attorney in private practice with New Jersey‑based firms McCarter & English and Archer & Greiner, where he focused on estate planning, tax planning, charitable planning, and business succession planning.
